The #AfricaCovidChampions Campaign has been running in DRC, Zambia and Uganda since June 2021. There has been a continuous surge in COVID-19 cases due to the onset of a third wave across the continent. The #AfricaCovidChampions Campaign emphasizes the importance of following protective and preventive methods that helps reinforces messages about social distancing, sanitation, and seeking answers from qualified professionals, in efforts to stop social mixing.
The Toolkit helps stop misinformation in its tracks and shares CDC-approved toolkits with your community through social media to help spread accurate information on COVID-19 and encourage healthy and preventive behaviors.
